Chuck Schumer 1999-2017 (Democratic)
Chuck Schumer was born in Brooklyn, New York. He lived with his parents, Abraham Schumer and Selma Schumer, and his siblings. He graduated from Harvard College in 1971 and from the Harvard Law School in 1974. After graduating, he ran for New York State Assembly. He was a representative of the 16th district of New York(1981-1982), 10th district(1983-1992), and 9th district(1993-1998). He was a politician all his life. He has two daughters: Jessica and Allison. He has no military service. Now he lives in Brooklyn, NY(also his birthplace) with his wife, Iris. He was first elected to congress as a representative in 1981. His most recent victory was when he was re-elected 3rd term as a senator on November 2, 2010. Next election is in 2016. His leadership positions are Majority Party,

Charles"Chuck" Schumer would be good to endorse because he has been doing a good job for the state of New York and he is all for the safety of New York.
Chuck Schumer Co-sponsored the VAWA Bill. A bill to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act of 1994. The bill was introduced on January 21, 2013, it passed the Senate on Feb. 11, 2013, passed the House on Feb. 28, 2013, and the President signed on March, 6 2013.
